The Impala |Lenox Hill

The Impala, is a 31-story, condominium designed by Michael Graves and completed in 2000. This was the architect’s first residential tower in New York, and it’s the second Graves building renovation we’ve worked on following 425 5th Ave.

For the hallway renovation, we focused on modernizing the space with subtle updates that fit the building’s architectural style and bringing Michael’s signature Blue into the carpet coloration. While the hallways were a straightforward renovation, the upcoming lobby project is where we’ll emphasize integrating the wildlife murals of impalas that adorn the entryway. Our aim is to preserve the essence of Michael Graves’ original vision while introducing a fresh, updated look to the lobby that respects the unique character of the space.
