The Copley Condominium & Club

The Copley at 2000 Broadway underwent a major hallway renovation to address the long, dark corridors previously dominated by dark green tones seeing it’s last renovation over 20 years ago.

Our focus was to create welcoming spaces at the elevator landings. We designed a custom carpet with a bold Art Deco pattern, complementing the building’s curved architecture. As the hallways extended, the carpet transitioned into a softer pattern, reflecting the building’s rounded corners and curved forms.

To bring natural light from the elevator banks down the long L-shaped hallways, we installed mirrors with a Mondrian-inspired design. The mix of bronze-tinted, frosted, and patterned mirrors helped bounce light, opening up the space and creating depth.

We incorporated tubular door hardware, sconces, and custom ceiling lights, all mirroring the building’s curved design. The renovation’s color palette drew from the lobby’s Alicante red marble and neutral tones, incorporating red-brown and beige upstairs. This thoughtful approach ensures a seamless flow from the lobby to the hallways, unifying the building’s aesthetic and enhancing its overall feel.
