How do you bring the most distinctive elements of a building’s lobby up through the rest of its floors, without breaking the bank?

KAID recognized the most memorable feature of 425 Fifth’s entry experience: its epic contrast marble, whose swirls dominate every resident’s entry and exit.

As part of planned upgrades, new building-wide carpet was identified as an opportunity to honor the lobby’s existing identity. The custom design brings the marble’s personality into a contemporary aesthetic language, without adding undue cost. Complementary wall-coverings and fixtures were sourced at a preferred price, making for a cohesive interior concept.
